The Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT)
The Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT), a grant awarding and proactive research commissioning organisation, was established in 2011 to provide a solid evidence base that informs, influences and underpins policy making and service delivery, in order to enable ex-Service personnel and their families to lead successful civilian lives.
FiMT operates from a 20-year disbursable endowment of £35m from the Big Lottery Fund and is establishing a programme of pro-active funding of evidence-generating activities through grants and commissions in defined areas, together with coordinating the efforts of others and supporting projects that deliver long-term solutions to the challenges faced.
We are always interested in research ideas and projects that help us to fulfil our charitable aims and objectives, as stated on our website: http://fim-trust.org/how-to-apply-sub/what-we-are-supporting
If you are interested in finding out more about the funding opportunities with FiMT and our commissioning and grant awarding work, do please contact our enquiries desk (firstname.lastname@example.org), follow us on twitter (www.twitter.com/FIMtrust) and keep an eye on our website (www.fim-trust.org ) where we post calling notices and other interesting items of news.
