A reminder that Applications are now open for the Athena SWAN mentoring programme and Aurora participation for 2018/19 – Deadline 16th July!!

- Athena SWAN mentoring – focuses on mentoring support for career development.
- Aurora – Leadership Foundation’s (LFHE) women only leadership programme
Please note that there will also be a Spring cohort application round (dates below). This will include the Diversifying Leadership programme which is LFHE’s leadership programme designed to support early career academics and professional services staff from black and minority ethnic backgrounds who are about to take their first steps into a leadership role.

The aim of this event will be to provide an opportunity for colleagues to find out more about the Athena SWAN mentoring programme as well as the LFHE leadership programme places funded for the Aurora (women only) programme and the Diversifying Leadership programme designed to support early career academics and professional support services staff from black and minority ethnic backgrounds.

The evening will provide an opportunity to talk to Afua about her book with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion.
Afua Hirsch is a writer, broadcaster, barrister and human rights development worker. She is the Social Affairs and Education Editor for Sky News and was previously a correspondent for the British newspaper The Guardian.
